Engraving Options for Personalised Collars & Harnesses
All Snazzy Pooch personalised dog collars and engraved buckles on our harnesses include free engraving. Choose clear, stylish fonts so your dog’s name and contact details are always visible.
Engraving is permanently etched into the buckle for a clean, long-lasting finish. Pick from 9 fonts and 4 hardware colours, then add up to 2 lines of text (name + phone/postcode). We review layouts for readability before dispatch.
How it works
- Enter your text in the personalisation box and select your font on the product page.
- Up to 20 characters per line (including spaces) — shorter = clearer at a glance.
- Engraving is centred and permanently etched into the buckle (single-colour finish).
Symbols accepted: . , - / & + # @ ! ? ' : ; ( ) * ° • ♥ ★ 🐾 Please avoid full-colour emojis — only simple, single-colour icons are supported.
Engraving FAQs
How many characters can I use?
Up to 20 characters per line, including spaces.
Can I include symbols or emojis?
Yes — we support common symbols (. , - / & + # @ ! ? ' : ; ( ) * ° • ♥ ★ 🐾). Avoid full-colour emojis.
Can you engrave my logo?
Yes — send a high-resolution, single-colour version (black on white). We’ll convert it to the format our engraver needs.
Can I change my engraving after ordering?
If engraving hasn’t started, we can update it — email us ASAP with your order number.
How long will my personalised item take?
Made to order: please allow 5–10 working days for dispatch. See Delivery & Returns for full timings.
Tip: For best readability, use Line 1 for your dog’s name and Line 2 for a phone number or postcode.
