How it works

• Select your product options, then choose a font number from the chart above.
• Enter engraving text in the personalisation boxes on the product page.
• We centre and balance the layout for best readability on your chosen size.
• Engraving is a single-colour laser etch permanently marked into the buckle.

Character limits & symbols

• 2 lines of text (e.g. Line 1: Name · Line 2: Phone or Postcode).
• Up to 20 characters per line (including spaces).
• Shorter text = larger letters and faster recognition at a glance.

Symbols you can use

Please avoid full-colour emoji. Single-colour icons (like ♥ ★ 🐾) are fine.

Fonts

Pick the style that suits your dog’s personality. We’ll recommend a clearer alternative if the combination of letters + size could reduce legibility.

• Numbers are matched to the chart on this page.
• For the clearest look on XS–S buckles, we suggest Fonts 1, 3, 5.
• For decorative scripts on larger buckles, try Fonts 7–9.

Tip: Use the dog’s name on Line 1 and phone number on Line 2.

Hardware colours

Most styles offer Black, Silver, Gold, Rose Gold. Engraving appears as a single etched tone that contrasts with the finish.

• Black – modern and highly legible.
• Silver – classic, works with all fonts.
• Gold / Rose Gold – premium accent; use concise text for best results.
