Personalised Harness Fitting Guide

How to Fit Your Personalised Dog Harness

Follow this simple step-by-step guide to ensure your pup’s harness fits safely and comfortably.

Step 1: Prepare the Harness

Adjust all sliders to their largest setting, including the neck, chest, and chest length adjusters. This makes it easier to put on your dog.

Step 2: Slip Over the Head

Unclip the chest strap buckle (under the belly). Gently slip the neck loop over your dog’s head, making sure the lead attachment ring is on top of their shoulders.

Top tip: Use a treat to encourage your dog to put their head through the opening!

Step 3: Clip the Chest Strap

Bring the chest strap under your dog’s chest and fasten the buckle securely on the side.

Step 4: Adjust for a Snug Fit

Use the sliders to fine-tune the fit:

  • Neck size adjusters
  • Chest strap adjusters
  • Chest length adjuster (under the belly)

The harness should be snug but not tight. You should be able to fit 1 to 2 fingers between the strap and your dog’s body.

Fit Check:
If it’s too loose, the harness may rub or slip off. If too tight, it could restrict your dog’s natural movement — especially in the front legs.

Still unsure? Send us a photo of your dog wearing the harness and we’ll happily check the fit for you!
